Eligibility Criteria

Our grant program is open to families who meet the following criteria:

  • Your child must be an inpatient at a hospital for a minimum of five days.
  • You must be a resident of the United Kingdom.
  • You must have a social worker or family liaison worker who can apply for the grant on your behalf.
  • You can apply for one grant per family in a six-month period.

Application process

Our Step-by-Step Guide: making grant applications as simple as possible

1. Apply

Ask your social worker or family liaison worker to complete and submit the application form below.

2. Review

The board of Trustees will review the application and will inform you of the outcome within a week, by email.

3. Verify

If your application is successful, we will ask you to provide a photograph of your bank details for us to verify.

4. Transfer

We will transfer the grant to your account usually within a week of verifying your bank details.

Please note that the charity will be closed to receive applications during the months of August and December.

Please outline a clear and detailed case for each grant so we are able to assess as quickly as possible.
