At the Cindy Appleyard Foundation, we understand how challenging it can be for families who have a child admitted to a hospital for an extended period of time. We offer grants of up to £300 to support families who need to cover expenses related to temporary accommodation, transportation, and time off work. Our goal is to provide a helping hand to make things a little easier during this difficult time.

Eligibility Criteria

This form must be completed by a Family Liaison Worker or Social Worker on behalf of the family in need. We offer grant applications of up to £300. Trustees will aim to make a decision within seven days. Successful applicants will then be paid within seven days of the decision directly into a UK bank account.

We are a small charity run by volunteers, we aim to pay grants as swiftly as possible but there may be times when it is delayed.

The charity is closed to applications in August and December.
