Eligibility Criteria
Our grant program is open to families who meet the following criteria:
- Your child must be an inpatient at a hospital for a minimum of five days.
- You must be a resident of the United Kingdom.
- You must have a social worker or family liaison worker who can apply for the grant on your behalf.
- You can apply for one grant per family in a six-month period.
Application process
Our Step-by-Step Guide: making grant applications as simple as possible
1. Apply
Ask your social worker or family liaison worker to complete and submit the application form below.
2. Review
The board of Trustees will review the application and will inform you of the outcome within a week, by email.
3. Verify
If your application is successful, we will ask you to provide a photograph of your bank details for us to verify.
4. Transfer
We will transfer the grant to your account usually within a week of verifying your bank details.

Grant application form
This form must be completed by a Family Liaison Worker or Social Worker on behalf of the family in need. We offer grant applications of up to £300. Trustees will aim to make a decision within seven days. Successful applicants will then be paid within seven days of the decision directly into a UK bank account.
We are a small charity run by volunteers, we aim to pay grants as swiftly as possible but there may be times when it is delayed.
The charity is closed to applications in August and December.
